Sumana Kaluvai (Hometown: Roseville, CA) is a 3L at UC Law SF. She studied Bioengineering with a Tech Management focus at UCLA. She worked in pharmaceutical consulting at IQVIA prior to coming to law school. Concurrently, she helped found and served as executive director of The Hidden Dream, a non-profit for children on dependent visas, and has advocated immigration reform to senior White House staff.
She interned at Quinn Emanuel and Ripple her 1L summer, returned as a diversity fellow at Quinn her 2L summer and will be joining Quinn’s SF office after graduation. She is interested in exploring Soft IP, White Collar/Investigations, and Complex Litigation. Outside of law school, you can catch her lifting, roller skating or dog-sitting!
She was the Internal Vice President of Women’s Law society and is currently Operations Editor on the International Law Review, a member of the UC Law SF Trial Team, and is externing for Judge Chen in the Northern District of California.
