The New Infrastructure of Equity Compensation for Unicorn Startups

This event explored the current state of equity compensation in unicorn startups. The expert panel included Barrett Cohn (Scenic Advisement), Sriram Krishnamurthy (WSGR), Mike Huskins (Nikkl), Adrienna Huffman (Brattle Group) and Evan Epstein (UC Hastings) discussed the challenges of incentivizing employees in a period of economic uncertainty, new tools and business models for meeting those challenges, and potential litigation risks associated with stock options and other forms of equity compensation.

This was the latest offering from The Unicorn Initiative, a joint research project between the UC Hastings Center for Business Law and The Brattle Group.
