Veronica Callahan co-chairs Arnold & Porter Securities Enforcement and Litigation Group. She concentrates her practice on complex financial litigation, SEC and PCAOB enforcement actions and white collar criminal matters. Her clients include hedge funds and private equity funds, accounting firms, banking institutions, public issuers and underwriters. Ms. Callahan has successfully defended securities class action and individual litigations; fiduciary duty, suitability and common-law fraud claims; accountant liability matters and minority shareholder disputes. She has also efficiently led internal investigations and defended enforcement actions involving complex valuation, financial reporting, and insider trading issues. Ms. Callahan also has successfully arbitrated matters and negotiated complex settlements. She regularly writes and lectures on issues facing the financial markets.
