Evelyn Kahl is a Shareholder in Buchalter’s San Francisco office and member of the firm’s Energy & Natural Resources Practice Group. Ms. Kahl integrates three decades of experience in the energy sector, as counsel and subject matter expert, to support her clients’ objectives related to electricity, natural gas, and climate change regulation.

Ms. Kahl’s mediation skills have given rise to a specialty practice representing coalitions who jointly advocate industry interests in the development of regulations and legislation. Ms. Kahl represents the Energy Producers and Users Coalition and Indicated Producers, who collectively represent the electricity and natural gas interests of eight global energy companies. Ms. Kahl also represents the California Community Choice Association, a group of load-serving entities who provide electricity services to communities throughout California. Her individual clients range from Silicon Valley start-ups to Fortune 50 companies.

Ms. Kahl is a member of the Conference of California Public Utility Counsel and the Association of Women in Water, Energy, and Environment. She is also a certified mediator.
