Bubba Gleaves is a 1L at UC Law San Francisco, originally from North Idaho. She played Division I softball at Columbia University, earning a degree in Political Science with a concentration in Business Management. Prior to law school, Bubba co-founded a real estate company with her younger brother, which ignited her passion for business law.
At Columbia, Bubba was an active member of several organizations, including the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Athletics Pre-Law Society, and the Columbia Lions’ Leadership Initiative. She served as Team Captain her senior year and earned Ivy League athletic honors as First Team Third Baseman in 2023 and Honorable Mention in 2022 for exceptional performance during both seasons.
Her experiences as an athlete and entrepreneur have shaped her interest in business law, particularly in emerging companies, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Bubba is driven by a desire to empower small businesses, particularly those in underrepresented communities, and help them achieve sustainable growth that contributes to the broader economic ecosystem.
